Since January of 2016, Sunday Assembly Gainesville (SAGA) has brought people together to join in the global Sunday Assembly movement. We are a radically inclusive group which endeavors to inspire others to:

Live Better

Even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, SAGA members aimed to stay connected to one another, sharing in the one life that we know we have. Through our activities—book clubs, game nights, brunches, assemblies—we are helping each other stay connected and to Live Better.

Help Often

By supporting a variety of local causes and organizations, SAGA aims to raise awareness of issues critical to our community. SAGA members actively volunteer and encourage everyone to Help Often.

Wonder More

SAGA brings thought leaders and inspirational speakers to our monthly assemblies. Former & current Gainesville mayors, astronomers, political activists, UF professors, historians—these are the kinds of folks who have been the featured speakers at past assemblies. ​​
