Professor Elizabeth Lada will present a talk, tentatively titled “Wonders of our Universe.” Speaker had to cancel at last minute. We hope to reschedule her.
A TED Talk on "Gravitational Waves" was presented in stead.
Dr. Lada teaches in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Florida. She received her BS in Physics from Yale University in 1983 and her PhD in Astronomy from the University of Texas in 1990.
Her research is focused on understanding the origin, properties, evolution and fate of our far-flung universe.
